The identification and botanical classification of Mediterranean trees and plants.
Our pursuit of research led us to a pleasant collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Corfu, within the project “Enhancing user experience and cultural innovation through experiential knowledge augmentation with augmented reality technologies – MON REPO”.
This pleasant collaboration took place in the Botanical garden and museum of MON REPO. A pleasant walk with interesting people and a sharing of agricultural knowledge led us to a pleasant result! The identification and botanical classification on trees and Mediterranean ornamental plants in the Botanical Garden of MON REPO.
It is our pleasure to cooperate and collaborate with local authorities of our island!
Corfu Agro is close to actions concerning the protection of the Environment in Corfu and not only. Our presence had as its starting point the creation of a document on 11 .09.2020 regarding the reforestation in the burned part of the area "Erimitis " - Agios Stefanos Sinion in Corfu. For this particular document, we had the pleasure of working with Mrs Elena Papadopoulou MSc Biologist - Environmentalist and Mr Giannis Gasteratos MSc Forester - Environmentalist. After three years nature reunited us on 31.07.2023 where another document was created regarding the reforestation in the burned part of the Northeastern area of Corfu. This time Mr Trifonas Hondroyiannis MSc Agronomist was added to the scientific team. It's our pleasure to collaborate with colleagues when nature needs us!
