Eco-School
Step forward and support the next generation.
The Corfu Agro eco-school was established to impart the knowledge needed by mankind to protect his home in nature, and to learn to live in harmony with it. This is the reason that our eco-school opens its doors to everyone from young children to adults. The eco-school’s purpose is to step forward and support the next generation, our children, in every way!
Activities at our eco-school commence with lessons on the environmental and nature; plants, animals & nutrition, according to two separate frameworks. The first, more basic framework is aimed at children and teenagers. The second focuses on adults.
Courses take place online, and soon also in our especially designed space, assisted by audio-visual aids, notes, books and e-books in two languages, Greek and English. Additionally, through workshops and organised seminars, we aim to educate the participant on issues related to nature, agriculture and the environment. At the same time a Greek and English language e-library will be established, focusing on the topics of Agricultural Science and the world of plants and animals.
Corfu Agro seeks to provide free knowledge to children of all ages and to give teenagers the knowledge and skills required for entry into a public institute for further education, an Agricultural University or Technical Education Institute, if they so desire.
